GUARD, A covert organization dedicated to “protecting” humanity from The Enhanced and other supernatural threats, exerts their authority over local law enforcement after Cindy and Sledgehammer’s explosive encounter. (Issue #1). While Cindy anxiously awaits the results of her Cheerleading tryouts, despite her mothers disapproval, she struggles to grapple with the uncertainty of her powers. Desperate for guidance, she turns to a newfound ally. Meanwhile, a mysterious figure approaches Cindy’s parents with an offer to change her life. Whether it’s for better or for worse, they didn’t say.
